Google Data on Halloween Costumes

Google created a site that shows popular costumes by region based off of nationally and locally collected data on Halloween costume searches. The map is an interactive visualization which reminded me of our last project in DTC 477 on data visualization. Not only does the site show popular costumes rigonally, but it also shows in a different part of the site, what costumes are the most popular right now nationally. It even gives suggestions to unpopular costumes for those who to be more unique with their costume.
