Data Visualization

This is my Data Visualization. It is a stream of one continuous thought, that moves from one subject to the other. I first started out thinking about Star Wars. I then thought of the movie theater, which then led me to Thanksgiving. I thought of Thanksgiving because usually my family goes to the movies around the holidays. After Thanksgiving, I thought of Las Vegas because this year for Thanksgiving I will be in Las Vegas. And then while in Las Vegas I will see Mystere, a show by Cirque du Soleil, which is how I got to those thoughts. Cirque du Soleil is in Montreal, which reminded me of a design firm up there called Sid Lee. Sid Lee reminded me of the Digital Technology and Culture program. And from there I thought about my job with the Office of Student Life, and doing graphic design for them. And then I thought of Star Wars again because Student Life is doing a Star Wars themed dead week this semester.

The map is a combined map of San Fransisco, Pasco, Ply
mouth, Las Vegas, Montreal and Richland, which all represent the location of the the subjects of the thoughts. The size of the words indicates the amount of time that I spent thinking about each subject relative to each other. The line indicates the path that I took in the thought process.
